Brothers of St. Johns, our fund raising competition on behalf of “Smiles for Kids” with St. Andrew’s has ended, and although we raised over $600 just by passing the hat in Lodge, we were “bested” by the $1,500+ raised by our sister lodge’s brethren. Thus we will be sponsoring a cookout for both lodges on Friday July 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Portsmouth Masonic Temple St. Andrews has also announced they will be hosting a “brandy and cigars” social hour on the “south lawn” to accompany the cookout. This is strictly a social event and we hope to see as many brothers as possible from both lodges. Please watch this posting for updates.
